Right after the hugely successful TGE on December 15th, the SIDUS HEROES project deployed extra profit earning opportunities. You can now stake your tokens on our platform.
If you are reading this article, you are most likely the happy owner of the SIDUS HEROES project’s native tokens. You are probably planning to hold your tokens (which warms our hearts so much) and are looking for ways to make some interest on them. Well, here we are bringing you your first extra profit earning solution. To begin with, let’s recall some of the basic information about the tokens you own.

How to use the Staking feature
The SIDUS HEROES team is happy to work closely with its devoted community of token holders and would like to reward those who believe in the product and take an active part in the project.
We are launching the token staking feature. Your tokens will be locked in the contract for a specified period of time. We offer the following options: 90 days, 180 days, 360 days. At the end of whichever period you choose, you will be able to withdraw your tokens from the contract along with your profit, which can reach up to 60% of the amount you invested. However, if you decide to withdraw your tokens before the staking period is over, the system will charge a penalty fee of up to 30% of the deposited amount. The penalty system is progressive, which means the closer to the end of the staking period you withdraw, the lower the penalty will be. We will burn half of the funds generated from penalties (as envisioned by the deflationary tokenomics of the token) and the other half will be sent to the project Treasury to be used for new products and new bonuses for the community.
Below is some detailed information about each staking period.
Below are some short instructions on how to stake your tokens on the platform.
1. Proceed to page https://sidusheroes.com/staking and connect your wallet to the website.
2. You will find yourself on the page with the staking form. The form is very simple to read.
3. Pick the token you want to stake.
4. Insert the amount of tokens you want to stake.
5. Choose the staking period. We provide three options: 90 days, 180 days, 360 days. The longer you stake, the higher the interest you receive on your stake.
6. Push the STAKE button.
7. You will need to confirm the transaction in your wallet and pay the network fee.
On the right side of the page, you will see your balance for both tokens. You will also see your current balance (stake + interest). This form can be used to unstake your funds.
Note: we charge a penalty fee for early unstaking. The size of the penalty depends on how much time is left till the end of the staking period. The longer your funds remain staked, the lower the penalty is.
