SIDUS HEROES has integrated LayerZero, ushering in a new era of blockchain accessibility for the SIDUS Metaverse. This exciting integration leverages LayerZero’s cutting-edge omnichain fungible token (OFT) standard to enable seamless, 1:1 transfers of $SIDUS tokens between the Ethereum blockchain and the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) blockchain. This makes Asterally the first gaming product to embrace the new capabilities.
Asterally is a hybrid casual game that has been designed exclusively for Telegram users. The game boasts stunning visual effects and immersive lighting. Players navigate their spacecraft while evading asteroids and collecting coins with which to replenish their weapon ammo. The objective is to outlast other players and secure valuable rewards. In the forthcoming second season of Asterally, $SIDUS tokens on BSC will be a valuable currency in the in-game marketplace, so LayerZero’s cross-chain messaging capabilities will become an integral part of it!
How It Works:
1. Visit the token bridge.
2. Connect your wallet and specify the amount of $SIDUS tokens you wish to convert.
3. Approve the transaction in the Ethereum network. The $SIDUS contract on Ethereum locks your tokens during the transfer.
4. Execute the token transfer. LayerZero’s cross-chain messaging technology facilitates communications between Ethereum and BSC.
5. The $SIDUS contract on BSC mints the equivalent amount of tokens on BSC.
6. The locked $SIDUS tokens on Ethereum are burned and the newly minted $SIDUS tokens on BSC are sent to your wallet.
7. For the reverse exchange, BSC tokens are burned by the contract and the corresponding tokens are returned to your wallet, completing the cycle.
