SIDUS Station shipyard construction: the specifics
In the SIDUS universe, the construction of any significant object like a Space Shuttle, including a Roboshuttle, requires players to collaborate together. Each Space Shuttle will require players to invest resources and a certain number of real hours to complete the construction — a deed that should definitely be rewarded.
A strict procedure must be followed when building a ship:
- Purchase a Toolbox (containing all the necessary components).
- Build the respective module for the SIDUS Space Station.
In this article, we elaborate on some shipyard specifics — an essential module of the SIDUS Station.
Shipyard: Construction or Investment?
Let’s start by clarifying that to build a Space Shuttle from a Toolbox, players have to wait until a shipyard module is built at the SIDUS Central Space Station.
To build this module, players need a huge amount of metal, construction materials and other resources that they can acquire from Tesseracts received in the Battle Arena. Every time players invest resources into building a module, this information is saved. As soon as the required amount of resources is gathered, the construction process can begin.
Players will be able to send their team’s Heroes off to participate in construction works — this information will also be saved. When the construction process is complete, two lists are formed: those who invested their resources and those who invested their time.
Extra profit for construction participants
After the shipyard construction is finished, every player is given the opportunity to build a ship using a Toolbox. As previously mentioned, the wages for players who work on a ship’s construction is already built into the Toolbox price and will be paid in $SENATE. This means that every player has an additional opportunity to earn some $SENATE. The higher the class of the ship, the greater its initial cost and the greater its reward will be.
Please, note that the first shipyard will only be able to produce Space Shuttles. Scouting, drilling, and combat ships will be built in their own designated shipyards, based on similar principles.
What’s next? We’ll soon see!
This is just a small fraction of what we have prepared for you. In the station modules, you will not only be able to produce ships, you’ll also be able to generate new Heroes, improve equipment and delegate access.
Best regards,
