Your long awaited public token sale has been announced and we are grateful for your interest. Before we walk through the token sale participation process, please peruse the following key facts and security tips.
Key Facts
Rowan will be the functional token of the Sifchain network. For convenience, Token Sale purchasers will be able to purchase wrapped Rowan tokens, eRowan, on the Ethereum network. All eRowan will be convertible to Rowan 1:1 on the Sifchain network when MainNet launches.

Security Tips
Be aware that scams are prolific in the crypto-currency world. We urge you to be careful with your funds. Here are some important things to remember.
Sending Crypto
We will NEVER ask you to send money to a wallet address. The only place to contribute funds to the Token Sale will be on https://purchase.sifchain.finance (closed until the start date: 3 February 2021). We will not have any flash/VIP/special pools or sales for the token.
Private Messages on Telegram or Discord
We assure you that no member of the Sifchain team will message you unless you write to us first. We will never ask you for your private keys or ask you to send money to any wallet address. If in doubt, check with one of our Telegram group administrators (listed in the pinned message of our official Telegram group) before replying to any incoming messages from profiles that claim to be team members.
We will NEVER email from any address other than from “@sifchain.finance” addresses. Please do not trust any emails coming from other addresses.
Website
Sifchain.finance is the ONLY valid domain. If you find yourself on any other site, it is NOT part of the Sifchain organization.

Step-By-Step Guide
Participating in the Token Sale is simple. There are three main steps.
- Complete registration and Know Your Customer (KYC) | ~15 minutes
- Wait for participation approval | ~2–3 business days
- Participate | ~5 minutes

We recommend using Chrome or Firefox internet browsers. The purchasing app will only support MetaMask so we recommend having a MetaMask wallet ready prior to registration.
Step 0: Contextualize

Step 1: Register
Please fill out the registration form and go through KYC: https://tokensale.sifchain.finance
We will NOT ask for your personal information through any other means.
Step 1.1: Select Country of Residence
Applicants domiciled in any of the following countries and regions are ineligible to participate in the token sale: United States, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia, Belarus, Burma, Crimea, Côte D’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, Iran, Iraq, Liberia, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, Zimbabwe, Yemen, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Mali, Burundi, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and/or any other country or territory that is the subject of country-wide or territory-wide sanctions from the United States. Thank you for your understanding!
Step 1.2: Enter Personal Data
Please input your data as accurately as possible. The information you enter must match documents you provide.
Step 1.3: Enter Phone Number and Email
Enter your preferred email address. We will use that address for communications about your status in the token sale. You will not be able to change this address after it is entered.
Step 1.4: Enter MetaMask Wallet Address
Please be sure to enter the MetaMask wallet address from which you will be sending your USDT. This will be the same address that receives eRowan. If you do not enter a MetaMask wallet, you will not be able to use our app (https://purchase.sifchain.finance) to participate in the token sale. Please ensure that you own the private keys to the relevant wallet.
Step 1.5: Identity Verification
You can choose from four options to verify your identity. Additionally, please attach a utility bill, bank statement, or pay stub showing your name and address. Be sure that any document you submit is clear and readable. This will be used to verify your location.
We prefer passports over any other form of identification. If you provide your passport, your registration will be assessed much faster than with any other form of identification!
If you have already submitted a form of identification but you want to submit your passport to expedite the process, send a photo or scanned copy to “compliance@sifchain.finance” — we can automatically assess your passport. Please make sure that you send this email from the same address you used to register initially!
Step 1.6: Completing Verification
Carefully read all conditions of participation including the Token Sale Agreement and Privacy Policy. If you agree with them, please check the box and click “submit.”
Step 2: Wait for Participation Approval
If your registration and KYC documents are accepted, you will receive a confirmation email from token-sale@sifchain.finance containing your unique 64 digit confirmation code.
If your registration and KYC documents are not accepted, you will be notified accordingly.
Note that the registration and KYC review process may take up to three business days. Please be patient and only reach out to us if you have not received any message after this time.
Step 3: Participation
When the Token Sale begins on 3 February 2021 at 12:00 AM GMT, approved applicants will be able to access the Sifchain token sale contribution app (https://purchase.sifchain.finance). Do not send us funds through any other means. No one from the Sifchain team will ever ask you to send funds directly or ask for your private keys.
Step 3.1: Connect MetaMask Wallet
On the contribution page, connect your MetaMask wallet by simply selecting the “connect wallet” button and following the prompts on screen. If you’re using a Ledger wallet connected to your Metamask, be sure to Allow Contract Data by going to “Settings” in the Ethereum app on your Ledger.
Step 3.2: Complete Contribution Form Fields
In order to submit a contribution, you will need to enter the 64 digit confirmation code from your confirmation email. Upon doing so, you will be able to enter a contribution amount in USDT and adjust slippage tolerance according to your preferences. Select “purchase” to submit your transaction request to MetaMask for final signature and execution.

Success!
Upon blockchain confirmation of your transaction, you will see a success screen similar to the image below. You may also view your successful transaction by selecting the link to our block explorer.
