There is some good news today: World Cup 2022 is employing 12 calibrated camera installed around the stadium dome to analyze 29 joints of all soccers players in the field throughout the matches.
The data is used to analyzed player’s efficiency and real-time individual stats to display on screen. In the near future all other sports will follow.
This week I worked to extend the server from tracking only 29 main joints to tracking all main joints and minor key points such as facial landmarks, hand and foot joints.
