Last night Siglo cofounders, Joel and Isaac did an Ask-Me-Anything on Pig.gi’s Facebook page in Spanish. Pig.gi is the first app to use the Siglo protocol. Pig.gi has an off-chain currency called the Pig.gi Coin. Over 1 million users win coins for completing profiles of consumer data that are anonymized and sold to brands in emerging markets as insights. Specific panels of users win additional coins for:
- viewing content: 22,000 users
- answering surveys: 8,000 users
- uploading photos as proof of consumption: 1000 users
- uploading photos as proof of purchase: 1000 users
Since November, Pig.gi users can purchase Siglo Tokens (on the testnet) with Pig.gi Coins (off-chain) in special presales. The first early presale was at 3 Pig.gi coins per Siglo. The second presale of Siglo Tokens for Pig.gi Coins will start on Tuesday, 26 February 2019, and end Thursday, 28 February 2019, at 5 Pig.gi Coins per Siglo.
