We are creating the next generation of brain health leaders through interdisciplinary study of social work, public health & policy, and entrepreneurial innovation. The Open Labs fellowship is launching!

Sigmend Internship & Techstars Associate at Techstars Demo Day

Today’s world is becoming increasingly complex and, as a result, so are its social issues. The Fellowship’s goal is to expose the next generation, who will solve these complex issues, to the best in class across the disciplines that will need to cooperate and collaborate.

While attaining a Masters degree in a School of Social Work or Public Health, Open Labs Fellows will complement their academic study with hands-on experience designing social innovations alongside leading technologists and strategists.

Fellows need to be able to learn and adapt in a variety of contexts across many disciplines. Beyond bringing relevant experience from degree programs, Fellows are encouraged to pursue their goals while enriching the Open Labs community through flexible work relationships and projects.

Open Labs is systematically disrupting social norms surrounding brain conditions to create a world where people with Bipolar disorder have the hope they need to live openly. Attacking these deep rooted social issues will require insight across fields and collaboration with motivated, energetic students. Apply now.

Thank you to our social innovation collaborators at USC School of Social Work, Greenhouse, and Techstars.
