Signa Liquidity Is Now Available On Binance Smart Chain

Signum is the pioneer of truly sustainable, decentralized blockchain solutions, an alternative to wasteful Proof of Work and centralized Proof of Stake systems. First developed in 2014, Signum has been at the forefront of blockchain technology with the first implementation of smart contracts. Since 2019, the Signum-Network has been preparing the Signum blockchain for the next decade.

In the continuing effort to build bridges between complementary blockchains, we are excited to share the news that wrapped SIGNA (WSIGNA) is now available on Binance Smart Chain! Now, with wrapped SIGNA on Binance Smart Chain, Signa holders can use the wrapped SIGNA to participate in DeFi applications on the Binance network. We see this integration with Binance Smart Chain as the first step in growing liquidity across multiple chains while also preparing for the ability for other assets to live on the Signum network.

WSIGNA is a BEP20 token and can be used to stake, yield, earn and participate in a growing number of applications taking advantage of Binance Smart Chain (BSC) ecosystem of products and services. It can be easily exchanged for BNB on the Binance Smart Chain.

Liquidity Pool

With Pancakeswap, you can easily trade your WSIGNA on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). Furthermore, since you can buy and sell WSIGNA for WBNB, you can also choose to provide liquidity and earn pool fees on every trade!

Wrap your Signa

Besides buying WSIGNA directly using Pancakeswap, anyone can send his own SIGNA to the swapping service on BTDEX to wrap Signa and get WSIGNA. This bridge works both ways and is the primary portal for SIGNA holders to get WSIGNA for use in the Binance Chain ecosystem. Once the exchange is complete, the WSIGNA BEP20 token will be visible in your Binance Smart Chain (BSC) Wallet.

On BTDEX, you will always be able to exchange back your WSIGNA for SIGNA at a 1:1 ratio. All SIGNA wrapped in WSIGNA stays locked in a BTDEX smart contract as buy back. Besides that, anyone can create their own offer to buy or sell WSIGNA/SIGNA on BTDEX.

What is Binance Smart Chain?

Binance Smart Chain (BSC) is a blockchain developed by Binance to develop an ecosystem of decentralized applications, NFTs, and digital assets. Similar to Ethereum, developers can deploy native smart contracts onto BSC at significantly lower fees than Ethereum.

Note
BSC addresses start with 0x…
For example 0x7b0e7e40ee4672599f7095d1ddd730b0805195ba.
For getting your Binance Smart Chain address you can use Binance Wallet, TrustWallet, Metamask (configured for BSC), or other compatible browser extensions.

What Is Asset Wrapping?

Asset wrapping is the process of taking an asset from one network and allowing it to live on another network. By using BTDEX smart contracts to swap SIGNA with WSIGNA (BEP20), a decentralized and unique exchange method was established. With this transparency, a network can then ‘mint’ a 1:1 representation of a token locked in Signum.

Note
BSC token names are not unique, the WSIGNA contract address is 0x7b0e7e40ee4672599f7095d1ddd730b0805195ba, be sure to use this address.
