Monster Hunter XX Definitely Not to be Announced

Monster Hunter Amiibos would be hot

With the announcement of Monster Hunter World coming to Xbox One (S/M/L/X), many people were expecting the English language version of the Switch version of the 3DS update of Monster Hunter Generations, Monster Hunter XX to be given a release date.

But in an interview with Gamespot Capcom advised that there were no plans to bring Monster Hunter XX Switch to the west. This was later clarified to the game maybe, probably, definitely not being announced for the west at the present time.

We look forward to the eventual announcement, possibly via a Nintendo Direct, in a few months time.

Update

With Monster Hunter World coming to all other systems we can be fairly certain that there will be no Xbox One X XX. Unless Capcom eventually update Monster Hunter World with XX content, then we will see Xbox One X XXxWorld Extended Edition.
