Long is the Journey
Long is the Journey, O Traveller, why do you sleep?
Ponder not on useless matters, slumber not needlessly.
Trapped by lust, anger, greed, and pride,
Why do you wither away your life?
You have burdened yourself with the baggage of delusion;
Once taken away from you, why do you weep?
Deep is the river, your boat is old; how will you cross?
Kabir says, O brethren, waste not your life seeking illusions.
