The Valve Lighthouse 2.0 Tracking system is now shipping with the HTC Vive Pro: Price $1399

Some folks are surprised today to have received the Lighthouse 2.0 tracking system with their HTC Vive Pro. Sure enough both the US and European websites for HTC Vive are selling the full HTC Vive Pro kit with the Lighthouse 2.0 Tracking system that allows for a much larger play area of up to 10m x 10m

The Lighthouse 2.0 is a big improvement on what was already broadly considered to be the best tracking system for Virtual Reality.

HTC Vive is referring to it as “MODULAR TRACKING”

This will basically allow for anyone to create a multiplayer VR Arcade.
