Why don’t you join us next month, if you are in Melbourne? RSVP here. There will be more events up on MSB Meetup and on SiliconCalendar to keep you motivated.

As you can see from the above list, our pitchers are not all tech startups. Many are small businesses that service startups. Majority of our sponsors over the years have been small businesses. We will be rolling out some special events where small business can meet startups and vice versa. Stay tuned.

Thanks Harjit for the video and the rest of the team for your efforts on the night and in the lead up to the night. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes. Join us on Slack and see what is going on and planned for the future and jump in if you like. We are quietly building something unique in the world.

#100SiliconBeaches (31:30 on Video above)
We are planning to open one hundred Silicon Beach communities across Australia in 100 weeks. We need a minimum of 33 volunteers and $5,000 for the stage 1 of this project. This is so that we can open the meetup accounts needed for 100 Silicon Beaches. Each volunteer can lead 3 meetups, holding it in “incubation” while the local leaders and members join and start activating the community.

It’s not a franchise. Each community will be encouraged to find what works in their city, depending on the skills and expertise the local community bring to the table. Just like startups, not all meetups are going to make it, but that’s fine. We will see how it goes and course correct in true startup style.

Join #100SiliconBeaches channel on our Slack to learn more and make history wth us.

Sponsor us so we can make this happen.
