My Two Cents

When I began to write this column I subscribed to Merriam-Webster’s unabridged dictionary. The collegiate version is the one that everyone can access for free, but the unabridged is behind a paywall. It usually has more comprehensive information about the words. Sometimes entries in both dictionaries match, sometimes they have slight differences. The entry shown above is from the collegiate version. Here is a screenshot of the unabridged one:
