My Two Cents

When one thinks of transcontinental countries, the usual suspects that come to mind are Russia (Asia and Europe), Turkey —whose capital, Istanbul, stretches between Asia and Europe— and Egypt, which has territory in Africa and Asia.

Would you be surprised to find out Kazakhstan is also a transcontinental nation? Of course not! I just spoiled the surprise with that introductory paragraph. That should teach me a lesson…
