Beta Version Announcement
After recent exciting news about the release of the Silverway’s Alpha 2.0 version and SLV token being listed on two exchanges, we would like to tell you more about the ongoing development of the platform and some key features of the beta version, set for release in 4Q 2019. We are working hard to make our platform the most convenient way for professional investors to buy and sell private round tokens, and are confident that the investors will be impressed with the platform’s new features.
What’s new:
New features and enhanced UX/UI
1. Project and Active offers pages remastered
An improved interface, plus more insightful information about each project and offer for a better user experience.
2. Beautiful and insightful card view mode added
Now it’s super user friendly to use the platform from both desktop or mobile. Just swipe to see our verified active deals.
3. Easy registration and verification management
Register in two seconds and have greater control over the verification process in a format similar to that offered by exchanges and other financial services platforms.
4. Dashboard
The design of user account pages has been completely overhauled, with seamless navigation within the Platform from the Dashboard. See your deal pipeline which helps you track your active deals at each stage of the origination and execution process.
5. Aggregated data is available for all offers and bids on the platforms
Can’t remember the project metrics or can’t decide what is a reasonable price for the bid you are sending? Please see the aggregated numbers for each project and each deal (just like on eBay), and make an informed decision.
6. Deal page with step-by-step execution process and “re-sending bid” option
You always know where you are in the deal process and can easily track your interactions with the counterparty. If your first bid failed, you have a second chance to make another proposal.
7. Projects watchlist added
Helps users follow their favorite projects and receive notifications on new offerings.
8. Market data — aggregated data and analytics on each project
Absolutely unique analytical set in a simple yet intuitive format, inspired by leaders in traditional financial markets such as SharesPosts and Mergermarkets. Available for a subscription fee, this is a completely unique feature for OTC crypto markets.

In partnership with market-leading services providers, we have automated some of the very painful but critically important processes, making Silverway a one-stop solution for OTC deals with illiquid tokens.

Key improvements on the beta version:
New features and enhanced UX/UI
Project and Active offers pages
We redesigned the Project page to enhance customer experience. In the beta version we will add more information about project metrics. More importantly, we will aggregate and present key data from active offers and deals. For example, clients will be able to support their investment decisions using data on the total number of bids, total volumes of offers on our platform, average price, etc.
On the Active offers page we added detailed information on lock-ups and vesting schedules, key deal scheme terms and information on the maker’s verification. We have also added a status column/field for each offer: clients now won’t have to wonder about whether the offer is active or not. This means users will now have a complete picture of each potential deal and its current status.
Card view
We decided to add a customary card view for offerings and projects on Silverway and it looks fantastic. More importantly: it significantly improves the UX for those who want to quickly surf through the increasing number of offers on our platform and those who use the mobile version.
The users who prefer the more “analytical” interface, can switch to the table view.

Dashboard
In the beta version we will add a Dashboard: a single page that provides a quick view of your key data and activities in one place. We are creating the Dashboard in line with global best practices for financial services, platforms and marketplaces. To gain an insight of how it will function, see dashboards on platforms such as Coinbase, Sharespost, eBay and others. On the Dashboard, users will see key account information, their watchlist, new offerings, a news feed and activity log.
Bid and Deal pages
One of the main features of the beta version are the Bid/Deal pages with a step-by-step deal flow that will lead you through the execution process. All necessary communication between both parties and Silverway will be made through these pages. What is more important: here you can see aggregated analytics: the current number of buy and sell bids, the price range, and average bid prices.
Projects page
A Projects page will be added in our upcoming beta version. On this page, users will be able to navigate simply through all the projects represented on the platform to find buy/sell offers for tokens of a particular project. They may add their favorite projects to a watchlist in order to receive notifications about new offerings and other news. From here they can also be redirected to the project’s page to see more information, where they will be able to find not only all the buy/sell offers, but also aggregated market data for this project (total volumes of offers, average prices, etc.)
Market data and analytics
We collect information about historical and recent offers and deals for each project on the platform. Moreover we provide clients with other resources on the market, in addition to insightful information that will help them to track market activities and trends to make well-informed investment decisions.
For example, subscribers will have access to charts showing not only the current prices on the OTC market, but also current and historical bid/ask spreads, estimated volumes, offers reliability and information on private and public rounds all in one place!
Infrastructure:
Working on such a complicated and volatile market as OTC transactions with illiquid assets, we are constantly thinking about how to improve the platform functionality and automate all processes to provide users with the best service.
This is why we will integrate third party KYC/AML and escrow/multisig services, together with our partners: market leaders in these segments. Users will be able to undergo voluntary KYC via their account to increase the reliability of their offers and bids. Usage of escrow and multisig will allow for the execution of more flexible deal structures.
To ensure that there are only trustworthy sale offers are represented on Silverway, we implement automatic two-step authentication of sale offers via proof-of-SAFT and proof-of-wallet. Each user is incentivized to undergo verification since only after this will their offer will be considered reliable by potential buyers.
