Following our announcement of partial SLV token migration to Binance Chain, we would like to publish instructions on how SLV token users can swap their SLV ERC20 for BEP-2 tokens.

The integration of SLV with Binance Chain will launch a new BEP-2 token called SLV-986. This SLV token is native to the Binance Chain ecosystem, and the integration will bring about the subsequent migration of the majority of tokens from SLV ERC-20 to SLV BEP-2 tokens.

At least 50% of ERC20 SLV tokens currently circulating in supply will be frozen via an oracle wallet https://explorer.binance.org/tx/AFD8DA10B81CC3AB042234E287BCD996A2A04C656D58F054AD76EF07BF22C032, and an equal amount of BEP2 SLV tokens will be unfrozen on Binance Chain. Remaining tokens yet to be unlocked will be proportionally distributed between ERC-20 and BEP-2.

The maximum circulating supply of the Silverway ecosystem across all chains remains as before: 1,000,000,000. This will ensure continuity and transparency in regards to our market-driven token price and market cap.

The token swap process is very simple: just send SLV ERC20 to the gateway wallet address; provide the Silverway team with your Binance Chain wallet address; and receive the respective amount of SLV BEP-2 tokens.

Before you start:

  • Please familiarise yourself with the instructions below before attempting to swap tokens;
  • Secure and backup your new Binance Chain wallet. Neither Binance or Silverway can recover lost wallets;
  • Keep in mind that there is no rush to swap tokens.

Swap your ERC20 tokens to BEP-2 in 5 simple steps:

  1. Prepare your ETH address where you store your SLV ERC20 tokens;
  2. Set up your Binance Chain wallet address to receive your SLV BEP-2 tokens;
  3. Send your SLV ERC20 tokens to the migration daemon address https://etherscan.io/address/0xe48f6b9d0c90f72e2436cbc4e032cf9452933012 and fill in your Binance chain wallet address in the transaction notes;
  4. Send an email with the ERC20 transaction TXID to conversion@silverway.io;
  5. Silverway will send the respective amount of SLV BEP2 tokens to the Binance Chain wallet address you provided.

And that’s it!

Please note that there is no way to swap BEP-2 SLV tokens back to ERC-20: this is a one-way process, with no increase in total supply. SLV ERC-20 held in private wallets or on other exchanges will not be impacted.
