Let’s introduce SIMDAQ IT Director with the working experience in the largest telecom companies.

Igor Ryabkov, an IT Director of the SIMDAQ project, joined us in February 2018. He successfully manages the programmers team. Thanks to his vast experience in the development of large-scale telecommunication projects, Igor has made a significant contribution to the creation of a platform for democratization of the digital asset market.

Igor Ryabkov is responsible for managing the IT Department, system architecture, business analytics, design, development of business processes on the platform and coordination IT with related units’ work (UI/UX).

Our IT Director has truly impressive background. When working at Peter-Service, Igor Ryabkov had been solving tasks of developing the projects of the leaders of Russian mobile and fixed-line telephony operators for more than 10 years, until 2013. The company’s main areas of activity is the development of telecom operators’ business support systems for all segments of the subscriber base across the entire range of solutions, from equipment adapters to CRM systems and WEB offices, as well as full-service support for all BSS processes of large telecom operators. The largest telecom operators in Russia and a number of foreign companies are among the company’s customers. Igor Ryabkov built his career in the company starting with the Support Team Engineer, and he worked as a Deputy Director of the Integration Department in recent years.

Tricolor TV, the largest Russian digital television operator, was Igor’s next place of employment. In 2014, Tricolor TV was the first television operator in Russia that regularly broadcast a pilot television channel in the ULTRA HD 4K ultra-high definition format. Next year, a full-fledged package of TV channels in the UHD format entered the Tricolor TV’s network. Igor Ryabkov was an IT Deputy Director in this company during the period of 2013–15. He developed the existing OSS/BSS solution, implemented a new BSS-solution and managed IT processes in the company.

The next Igor Ryabkov’s place of employment after Tricolor TV was a north-western branch of Megafon, a communications provider from the top-3 in Russia. He held a position of the Head of the Business System Development and Operation. He managed an IT team consisting of more than 50 specialists ensuring the continuous operation and development of systems covering all customer service processes in the region, and also was engaged in a number of federal projects.

The accumulated working experience in managing IT teams in large corporations has formed his intention to implement his potential within the startup developing. Igor accepted the offer to join the SIMDAQ team and managed to strengthen the team of programmers and significantly advance the project within a short period of time.

In February-March, the IT-team of the project built a common modular architecture of the system, chose the technologies on which the SIMDAQ platform is built and created common principles of development and technical documentation. The implementation of micro services is carried out on the node.js programming platform using Go and Python programming languages​​. A React.js library is used to create user interfaces in the frontend development. The software solution is hosted on the Kubernetes Cluster (Google Kubernetes engine) and Google App Engine systems, which enable effective future scaling of the system and withstand severe loads.

On April 25, SIMDAQ conducted the first integration test aimed at testing the processes of creating a profile for a new platform user, authorization and changing a password. Eight modules were used during the testing. The test was successfully completed. The task of designing the system is completed for all modules. Currently, development of server and front-end parts, as well as clarification of design and business cases depending on it are carried out in parallel with testing.

The development environment was launched on an ongoing basis, where new functions are being regularly created within the agile philosophy, which are put into the target system. Any project participant sees the current functionality developed in those form as it will be presented to users of the platform, which helps to realize the importance and usefulness of their contribution, and also to timely correct deficiencies.
