Dive into the world of watchOS 10 and discover its next-level features!

Introducing Apple’s latest innovations and advancements at the highly anticipated WWDC event, the tech giant has unveiled an impressive array of cutting-edge features and products. Alongside the highly anticipated iOS17, Apple has also introduced watchOS 10. watchOS10 takes center stage with its emphasis on widgets, an all-new Smart Stack, and an expanded range of watch face options. Check out the details below!

In 2022, Apple’s wearable devices, including the Apple Watch 8 and watchOS 9, did not bring notable advancements compared to their previous versions. WatchOS 10 will include big changes to the user interface with a new focus on widgets.

1. Watch Faces

Each watchOS update introduces fresh watch faces, and watchOS 10 will bring forth several new options. Among them is the Palette face, which transitions between different colors as time progresses. Additionally, there is a Peanuts-themed watch face showcasing Snoopy and Woodstock.

2. Cycling

The current home screen layout of watchOS has been consistent, featuring a fixed or honeycomb grid view. Apple is implementing an iPhone-like user interface (UI) in watchOS 10. This potential update would allow users to group apps and organize them into folders, resembling the organizational structure found on iPhones.

Initiate a cycling workout on your smartwatch, and it will automatically appear as a Live Activity on your iPhone. Simply tap it, and the activity will take up the entire screen, providing clearer visibility of your metrics while cycling.

3. Topographic maps

Explore mountains, valleys, lakes, and rivers in incredible detail, including trails, contour lines, elevation, and points of interest.

watchOS 10 will support the following watches:

  • Apple Watch Ultra
  • Apple Watch Series 8
  • Apple Watch Series 7
