So far, July has been another busy and productive month for the Simmitri mission. We’ve seen a nice increase in sales, community interest and tech development since our last update and will take a minute to share more of the details.

  4. AirDrop and Exchange Listings Update

Events & Meetups

It was a great week in San Francisco when members of the team attended the annual InterSolar conference July 10–12. It was great to visit with some of our friends and colleagues we’ve known over the years to see the latest technology pushing the solar market forward. It’s basically the “CES” of solar.

As we visited different exhibits, we came across a few innovators that are doing exceptional work in the space. One such company is Hanergy, one of the largest Chinese multinational energy companies producing an array of solar, wind and hydropower options — breaking world records with their thin film solar solutions. At the conference, reps from both Hanergy and Simmitri worked out the details of a particular solar roof to be added to a special project we’ve been working on behind the scenes (see below).

Additional meetings were set up with SolarEdge, U-Mining, Darfon and others in an effort to collaborate on our goals of obtaining smart grid solutions that fit into the Simmitri vision.

Going to InterSolar has reconfirmed our convictions that the team needs to continue to be involved in more events. Moving forward, we’ve decided that we are going to triple our involvement in such events both in the energy sector as well as the blockchain space. Business relationships and productivity are based on trust and that trust is exponentially gained in person. We will put together which events we will attend in the next update.

Simmitri Smart Homes

Our business model mainly pertains to providing a service to our customers as well as creating the smart grid of the future. However, when Simmtri brings on clients to serve specific needs to improve building performance, many times the recommended technology and methods — at the time — are limited to what palette we are working with and sometimes restricts our ability to add certain innovative methods to push the needle forward.

In having ambitious goals in creating a smarter, more efficient micro grid, it is paramount that we create a proven model to reference to our clients and future participants that the innovations we are building can actually be replicated in a real-life scenario. It’s not beneficial to just make claims that we can run a totally energy efficient building off of our AI + Blockchain + IoT devices and tech…

We must build it.

So as a showcase project, we’ve decided to take a home in Denver, CO and build a somewhat futuristic smart home from scratch — to further enable us to do what we set out to do and to create such a model. Basically, we needed a lab.

This smart home aims to become a standard in real estate new builds and demand response energy markets. We are currently working with two real estate companies to do what we are doing with this home to bring these unique ideas into the CA and CO markets. We will keep the community updated on these.

Here’s some of the renderings of what some areas of the home will look like.

Simmitri Auctions

This week, we will be launching a new way to interact with part of our platform, called Simmitri Auctions. This is a way for us to continue to build community engagement as well as a fun way to interact and use SIM tokens.

It basically works like any other online auction whereas registered users will be allowed to purchase and use SIM tokens as a means to bid on energy efficient products that Simmitri uses or recommends. The winners will be chosen as the timer hits 00:00:00 and be awarded the product at a fraction of the price.

We will be kicking off the auctions with the highly-anticipated Tesla Model 3, an all-electric vehicle with a value between $35,000-$50,000 (depending on customizations).

AirDrop and Exchange Listings Update

We have begun distributing tokens to the community that participated in our airdrop campaign. There are a lot of individuals who are still waiting to receive tokens and we appreciate your patience. We have been setting up “blocks” to send out periodically to determine how the airdrop will affect the value of the token and unfortunately — and because we are currently only on one exchange — the value has decreased due to more sellers than buyers.

We will continue to send out airdrop tokens to validated accounts as well as be agressive toward getting listed on more exchanges to improve the volume.

By the end of this month we should be announcing the next exchange we are working with to become listed. As you know, exchange policy restricts us to identify the exchange. We fully understand what we need in order to create a healthy trading environment. We also understand which exchanges offer the best volume.

Our token economics strategy is meant to scale alongside adoption. If you are reading this now, you are “early adopters” or shall we say “early airdroppers.”

As we bring more participants into the platform, you will see SIM tokens grow in value. We cannot speculate how much, we cannot tell you when you can expect returns and we cannot discuss exactly how. In the world of cryptocurrency or digital assets, those who hold during the “early adoption” phase and into the “early majority” phase will be happy they held on.

We are truly hoping that in the next Update, we are free to name the exchange(s) we are eluding to. Please be patient, please be courteous and please stay engaged because the Simmitri project is just getting started.
