Larry Jordan: From monitors, we turn our attention to the very beginning of the production process, which means lenses. And when you think lenses, you think Cooke Optics. And Les Zellan is the chairman of Cooke Optics. And as always Les, it’s a delight to welcome you back.
Les Zellan: Great to be here, Larry.
Larry Jordan: For people that have heard of Cooke but may not know exactly what you guys do, how would you describe the company?
Les Zellan: Well, we are… We’ve been in the lens-making business for the industry, a weekly film obviously, but now film and television since the 1880s.
Larry Jordan: Are you serious? It’s that long.
Les Zellan:Yes. In fact, before George Eastman started Kodak in 1889, he came over to visit the founder of my company to see if that one’s making hit. The whole history is just amazing.
Larry Jordan: Well, you’ve been the chairman for a while because you and I have been chatting many many years here at NAB. Tell us what you’ve got that’s new for the show.
Les Zellan: Almost nothing this year.
