“Aripi” virtual trips continue

Great news for you, guys! Despite some limitations associated with coronavirus, many events aren’t canceled, but instead conducted in a new unexpected format. Film festivals are now available online. This means that our cartoon “Aripi” will continue its trips, virtually!

From 21 to 26 April, “Aripi” will attend a really cool festival in Germany — Lichter VR Storytelling Award. Our cartoon has already hit the list of five finalists, but we keep fingers crossed and hope for victory. This year, spectators of the festival will be able to watch most of the entries by means of the VOD platform from the comfort of their homes.

From 5 to 11 May, “Aripi” will participate in GoEast — Festival of Central and Eastern European Film. There it will fight for the grand prize offered to the best VR movie. According to organizers, if things don’t change, the festival will take the form of an online presentation. And we gladly support them, because safety comes first.

In September, “Aripi” is invited to Lakeshorts International Short Film Festival in Toronto. For this festival, the organizers selected 20 best short films from hundreds of applications, and “Aripi” is among these 20 participants! We hope that by then, all restrictions will be removed, the situation around the world will be better, and festival guests will be able to watch our film in a specially designed place.
