“That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto. For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know. For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain.” (1 Thessalonians 3:3‭-‬5 KJV)

I know there are times when you go through so much tension and stress but don’t let your pain drown you.

Today, I want to exhort you on the need to keep your head up and press on. Indeed, we are most often faced with afflictions and sufferings that try to drown our faith. There are times when the fightings without and the fears within try to intimidate us, but remember to hold on tightly and press on.

The Apostle Paul is exhorting and encouraging us that we should not be moved by the afflictions. We may be faced with affliction but it is part of the package. He states very clearly that we are “appointed thereunto”. Don’t think of it as very strange. You may be faced with difficulty but you can breakthrough it. You can press on.

Don’t be moved. Be steadfast, unmoveable! It is part of the appointment with destiny. I see the dawn of a new day after this dark season. Your mistakes will not stop you. God will visit and turn your life around. Don’t let your pain drown you.

I pray that you will not allow the tempter to tempt you in this season of pain and affliction. The devil will always try to take advantage of your pain and affliction to tempt you but God is on your side. You will not be tempted. You will keep fellowship with the brethren and be reinforced to press on. Be strong and courageous, because it is only a season. You will come out strong and nothing shall stop you.

Stay blessed; I love you!
