MOAR POWER!

We treat user feedback pretty seriously. That’s why we share our product roadmap publicly, respond to support issues ourselves and spend so much time on our Discord server talking to the awesome people who made Simplay their main gaming platform. We believe that listening to our community and acting upon the feedback we get is imperative to creating a truly great product. One piece of feedback that kept coming up is that Simplay PCs lack horse power during peak hours. It’s no wonder, then, that we had to crack down on this problem.

Simplay PCs are optimized to offer the best value for money in the industry. It’s easy to improve the specs and charge more per month. But that’s not interesting to us — we were adamant at maintaining an affordable price point of $20 per month. So can we do it? Could we improve specs and performance, without increasing the price?

Thanks to balance trikcs and a lot of engineering mojo, we’re glad to update that we did it! We’ve been able to make significant improvements to the offering of the RARE plan:

  • Increased GPU vRAM minimum allocation by 50% from 2GB to 3GB.
  • Increased minimum vCPU allocation to 6 dedicated threads.
  • Improved cloud-cluster networking to the outside world.
  • Reduced connection latency and made connections more stable and secure.

And here’s the best part — we did all that without effecting the monthly cost! You could still enjoy unlimited play time for $20 per month. *flex.

We’ve updated our terms of service

In preparation for the GDPR (WTF is GDPR?), we recently updated our terms of service and privacy policy. At Simplay, we treat your privacy as a precious cargo we’re entrusted with, and must therefore protect. You can find the full updated versions below:
