Simple living doesn’t look like it’s made for the extrovert. After all, the movement is dominated by people Instagramming their steaming cups of coffee overlooking beautiful bucolic vistas with not a soul in sight.

That’s great if that’s how you gather your strength. But what about those of us who are energized by being around people? From hustle and bustle, from buzzing atmospheres, from being in the thick of it?

As an extrovert, I’m with ya. Here’s how to make a simple life work for you, no hiding from the world required.

A simple life doesn’t mean sitting at home with cocoa every night of the week

My best friend is one of the most extroverted people I know. The last personality test she took revealed she is 90% extroverted and I can well believe it. She thrives off people.

And yet she has one of the most simple lives I’ve ever come across.

Why? Because even though she does a lot and sees a lot of people, her life is incredibly intentional — she’s cut out the fluff.
