What’s the relationship between big data and blockchain?
Blockchain provides a method to authenticate rights of data, a method that does NOT depend of trust. Blockchain enables a refined circulation of big data and the values it could bring.
If we think of data as crude oil, then blockchain is a refinery for it.
Only after refining processes will crude oil become useful products such as gas, petrol, diesel oil and fuel oils. Without a refined right authentication process, data will be circulated in a crude, centralized way.
Companies like Dataqin that are working on blockchain + big data are going to industrialize data and scale the digital economy.
