Mainnet Data

Since launching on January 4th 2019, SimpleChain mainnet has been running steadily. Up until February 23rd 2020, the amount of total addresses on SimpleChain is 11,664. Average peak computing power is 326.816 GH/S, and average peak difficulty is 4,224 G. The amount of total transactions is 156,398.

Technical Development

SimpleChain 2.0

  1. Tested the interactions of anchor node selection and settings between the two contracts;
  2. Tuned cross-chain processes, from contract deployment, cross-chain information registration, to cross-chain order billing and receiving.
  3. Solved the conflicts between the consensus branch and the dev branch; completed the multi-consensus rapid deployment tool;
  4. Concluding multi-consensus module on version 1.9, added multi-consensus rapid deployment template tools;
  5. Modify the make test of the dev branch;
  6. Conducted a two-way batch cross-chain transaction test;

Mining Client-SimpleNode

  1. Released SimpleNode version 2.0.3;
  2. Adapted SimpleNode minimization to MacOS Dock;
  3. Added interception when there are no available miners after auto-start.

Blockchain Explorer

  1. Completed these pages on simplug plugin: welcome & create a new account page; import mnemonic page; homepage after successful login; edit personal information page and export private key page;
  2. Added search for contract events.

Developer Forum

  1. Completed backend admin interfaces (login, image server, article interface);
  2. Completed corresponding static pages.

Community Highlights

Call for Application for SimpleChain Foundation Council Election

Since the application started on February 10th, the SimpleChain Foundation Council Election has received applications from all over the world. In order to call on more active users on the SimpleChain network to participate in this election, the SimpleChain Foundation selected 100 addresses on the entire network based on factors such as the number of coins held, coin age, and activity level, and commissioned the SIPC.VIP community and the B.VIP community to select a list of users.

The SimpleChain Foundation welcomes active users on the list as well as all SimpleChain users and community members to apply to be candidates. The application will end on March 10. Top 10 SIPC holders (based on coin age) among all applicants will be the official candidates, and the SimpleChain Foundation will announce the coin age algorithm and the applicants’ ranking list.

Fighting Coronavirus: SimpleChain Foundation Accepting Donations to Purchase Hazmat Suits for Hospitals in Zhejiang Province

In the Spring Festival of 2020, the outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) swept across China.

In the face of this coronavirus outbreak, the SimpleChain Foundation mobilized personnel and community members around the world to arrange medical resources. We are grateful to have received assistance and support from community members from various countries/regions including Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom and Poland. Dataqin, an active member of the SimpleChain tech community, was able to purchase 10,000 Hazmat suits, and it will also provide technical support for a tracking platform to track all donations.

All donations will be recorded and tracked on the blockchain, and every donator will receive a donation certificate. The Hazmat suits will be donated to The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University, The Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University and other hospitals in Zhejiang province.

How to Donate?

  1. (Global) Make a donation of 20 (or multiples of 20) SIPC to SIPC address 0x96cfe317bffb668f543d623694cc2e16cd309d09. For every 20 SIPC donated, the SimpleChain Foundation will donate one Hazmat suit in your name. Please leave your name and email address in the transaction note.
  2. (Mainland China only) Purchase a charity product (charity price = original price +¥1)on SimpleChain official Youzan store or SIPC.VIP store. For every product purchased, the SimpleChain Foundation will donate one Hazmat suit in your name.
