Technical Development

SimpleChain 2.0

  1. Shortened the time for the transaction where the anchor node executes the makeFinish function to join the mining node txpool;
  2. Fixed the bug that there are transactions in the transaction pool but the blocks came out empty;
  3. Fixed the bug that the mainnet data cannot be synchronized;
  4. Sub-chains successfully received orders under the RAFT and PBFT consensus;
  5. Fixed the problem of inconsistent gas calculation when synchronizing the mainnet, and tracking the problem that all nodes cannot be connected within the internal network;
  6. Added order status query interface and order synchronization logic;
  7. Updated cross-chain transaction interface documentation;
  8. Optimized the RAFT consensus codes and used the public miner and worker codes to avoid problems that may be caused by repeated modification of the code;
  9. After adding the pending order synchronization mechanism, completed the test of 20,000 cross-chain two-way transactions;
  10. Fixed the bug of nodes’ frequent reconnection.

Mining Client-SimpleNode

  1. Verified the reasons for deployment failure and library contract verification requirements on SimpleNode 2.0.4;
  2. Tested Ethereum testnet library contract verification.

About SimpleChain

The mission of SimpleChain is to simplify the blockchain for business.

SimpleChain is a PoW main chain with flexible sub-chains. Different sub-chains can adopt different kinds of consensus and block data structure as needed, to enable a variety of applications and use cases on blockchain. Sharding is also implemented to improve performance. This double-layered structure of one main chain and multiple sub-chains can fuel various applications while ensuring the consistency of the network.

Built on VeraxChain, SimpleChain’s first sub-chain, Baoquan.com provides record keeping services which serves to keep records of online data and authenticate electronic evidence. In June 2018, Hangzhou Internet Court of China judged a case of copyright dispute based on data stored on Baoquan.com. For the first time in China, the legal effect of the electronic data stored on blockchain is recognized in the judicial system.
