Mainnet Data

Since launching on January 4th 2019, SimpleChain mainnet has been running steadily. Up until March 8th 2020, the amount of total addresses on SimpleChain is 11,694. Average peak computing power is 350.339 GH/S, and average peak difficulty is 4,446 G. The amount of total transactions is 160,400.

Technical Development

SimpleChain 2.0

  1. Optimized raft code structure, merged raft / minter and miner / worker codes;
  2. Fixed the test related to the protocol code;
  3. Solved the problem of p2p network connection and updated to the test network;
  4. Updated cross-chain transaction test process documentation;
  5. Sorted the process of deleting anchor nodes, now under development;
  6. Conducted a review of the streamlined branch codes, merged the codes into the develop branch, merged the new consensus coded while resolving conflicts., and resolve the conflict;
  7. Researched the solutions of forced fork under the situation of raft consensus split-brain;
  8. Tested the rollback of the dpos and pbft consensus forks;
  9. Tested the process of changing the cross-chain anchor node configuration after updating the anchor node;
  10. Tracking reasons for random test failure.

Blockchain Explorer

  1. Added the simplug plugin chrome configuration file to complete the docking of the homepage transaction list interface;
  2. Supported front end, modified localstroage storage, introduced web3 interface;
  3. Added new functions to Simplug plugin: import account through private key, create sub-accounts, and switch network;
  4. Created an interface switch of the main test network based on the existing account storage method;
  5. Finished Simplug contract deployment method;
  6. Simplug docking to complete transfers;
  7. Added observableStore to ensure user data security.

Steem Trust Crisis — Why SimpleChain Is Sticking to PoW

Tron founder Justin Sun, as well as Binance, Huobi and Poloniex, is being accused of voting with depositor’s funds to take over Steem. DPoS consensus is threatented by centralization, while PoW has been running steadily for years. This is one of the biggest reasons why SimpleChain adpoted PoW in the first place.

BVIP Offer for Subscription

Since B.VIP was launched on November 5, 2019, this premium decentralized cryptocurrency management platform has received 136 applications from high-net-worth individuals worldwide. After KYC, the first batch of 39 applicants met the platform’s standard and each subscribed for 1 BVIP with 100,000 SIPC (BVIP is the token of B.VIP, total supply is 100).

The second round of subscription will start on March 10 and will last for two months. An individual can subscribe for more than 1 BVIP and enjoy corresponding dividends.
