Binance is one the biggest exchanges in the world and offers a large number of trading and staking options but more importantly, for miners, they added the option to mine directly to their pool using graphic cards for Ethereum and Asics for Bitcoin.

How to start

First, it’s important that we have already a Binance account if not go ahead and create one after that go to the pool website and make a mining account where you will be asked to enter a username, that username will be then used in our miner configuration.

Now that we created a username all we have to do is configure our miner in order to point to the pool and use that username for mining

These are the available pool addresses, you can pick one from the list down below.

Binance Pool has deployed mining nodes in America, Europe, and China and the network is growing. The miners that have registered on the Binance Pool are automatically connected to the nearest node automatically.

  • stratum+tcp://ethash.poolbinance.com:1800
  • stratum+tcp://ethash.poolbinance.com:25
  • stratum+tcp://ethash.poolbinance.com:443
  • stratum+tcp://ethash.poolbinance.com:3333
  • stratum+tcp://ethash.poolbinance.com:8888

Payments

The payments are deposited into the mining account every day at 08:00 UTC and the type of payment is FPPS. The fees start at 0.5% and go up to 2.5%.

How to configure the miner

Let’s look at two examples one for AMD and the other for Nvidia GPUs. Let’s start with the AMD GPUs, for those we are going to select teamredminer as our miner and the miner should be configured like the example down below in the miner options field in the group config page from the Simple Mining website.

Teamredminer:

-a ethash -o stratum+tcp://ethash.poolbinance.com:1800 -u SimpleMining.$rigName -p x — api_listen — watchdog_script

Make sure you are replacing Simple Mining after the -u with the username you have created on the Binance pool page.

For Nvidia GPUs we are going to use as example Nbminer:

-a ethash -o stratum+tcp://ethash.poolbinance.com:1800 -u SimpleMining.$rigName --api 127.0.0.1:22333

Again make sure you are changing SimpleMining to your Binance pool username.
