SimplePart Included in Annual Inc. 5000 List for Second Consecutive Year
Atlanta-based technology company ranked no. 1717 on the 2017 Inc. 5000 with three-year sales growth of 227%
ATLANTA, August 24, 2017 — SimplePart announced today its ranking as no. 1717 on the 36th annual Inc. 5000 list, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. This is the second consecutive year that SimplePart has appeared on the list.
“We’re thrilled to be included in the Inc. 5000 list again this year,” said Michael Oki, president of SimplePart. “This really speaks to both the growth of our clients and our successes in 2016.”
Generating $3.8 million in revenue for 2016, SimplePart was also recently recognized by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as a Pacesetter for the second consecutive year. The Pacesetter Awards recognize Atlanta’s 100 fastest-growing privately owned companies.
CEO and founder Cole Getzler attributes SimplePart’s rapid growth to its unique approach to online fixed operations solutions for its clients and the Atlanta-based team. “We’ve provided meaningful impact for our OEM clients and dealers, and ultimately, for their customers,” Getzler said. “It’s been remarkable how much our team has been able to accomplish in a relatively short amount of time.”

“The Inc. 5000 is the most persuasive evidence I know that the American Dream is still alive,” says Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg. “The founders and CEOs of the Inc. 5000 tell us they think determination, risk taking, and vision were the keys to their success, and I believe them.”
The 2017 Inc. 5000 is the most competitive crop in the list’s history. The average company on the list achieved three-year average growth of 481%, and the Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $206 billion.
The 2017 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2013 to 2016. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2013. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of December 31, 2016. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2013 is $100,000; the minimum for 2016 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.’s September issue.
