Baked chicken wings with asparagus (serves 4)

This is one simple dish to prepare when we get bored with the usual dishes. Normally I would get one packet of the frozen wings (1kg) defrost and marinade to split into two sets, one to be baked the next day, and the other stored in the freezer for the next week. This was the first time I added the fine asparagus to bake, and it taste great, crunchy and sweet!

Made on 19 February 2016

500g mid joint chicken wings

Fine asparagus

Marinade:

1 tbsp shaoxing wine

2 tbsp oyster sauce

2 tbsp light soy sauce

  4. Add in the asparagus around the wings during the last five minutes of baking.
