I constantly see different startups trying to penetrate the college student market. Yik Yak was big but even that started to die away. Since then, the one app that I have seen that has the potential to grow and expand to every campus in America is —

Whatsgoody: An app that allows users to ask anonymous questions in the form of polls, targeted towards college students.

The interface of this app is quite simple, allowing any user to create a poll and share it with members of their community. I have found it to be a really great way to get a general idea of how students in a particular college feel about certain issues and where they stand on controversial topics such as the 2016 Presidential race.

Whatsgoodly allows users a chance to be heard and to ask questions anonymously that they would otherwise not have had the courage to ask. While these types of apps often encounter the problem of users taking advantage of their anonymity, I’ve only seen the platform used in a positive way so far.

In a time in which so much information is shared and opinions are everywhere on the Internet, it is refreshing to hear the unfiltered voices of today’s youth.
