Very few topics get me more heated than my favorite authors being the victim of harassment, bullying, or mistreatment. I recognize that as a single person seated behind a keyboard, there is only so much I can do. That said, the enemy of victory is silence, so let’s dive in.

Victoria (V.E.) Schwab is a female author of fantasy novels for middle grade, young adult, and adult audiences. As of this writing, she has published 17 novels, several short stories, and has a new book coming out in November, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. She has been on the New York Times’ Bestseller’s List many times over and her books have been featured on various ‘best of’ lists.

However, her experiences in publishing have not always been squeaky clean.
