[Wallet]How to transfer Ether and token via Ethereum Wallet

MyEtherWallet : https://www.myetherwallet.com/

When you want to transfer token, you have to add token into Ethereum wallet first. Let’s add token into Ethereum wallet. I would not recommend you to install Ethereum wallet on your pc because it will load full node on your pc. Desktop Ethereum wallet needs to sync first and it will take long time. I will recommend you to use online Ethereum wallet or MyEtherWallet. In this tutorial, I am using the Online Ethereum wallet. You should use Main network if you are in real world.

Wallet : Online Ethereum wallet

Networking : Rinkeby Test Network

Transfer Ether

2. Change network to Rinkeby network

3. using online Ethereum Wallet by url : https://wallet.ethereum.org/

4. click “SEND” Button

5. fill in “TO” field by account address who you want to transfer amount to and fill in “AMOUNT” field and then click “SEND” button

6. click “OK” on ethereum wallet confirm dialog and click “SUBMIT” on METAMAST Notification dialog.

7. view the transaction on METAMASK. You can click “…” to etherscan website to view your transaction detail.

8. You view transaction on etherscan website when it is done.

Transfer Token

1. open your Online Ethereum wallet

2. Click “ CONTRACTS” button and check whether your token is list on CUSTOM TOKENS.

3. Click “SEND” Button

4. fill in“TO” field by receipt address and “AMOUNT” field and select token which you want to tranfer to and then click “SEND”

6. click “OK” on ethereum wallet confirm dialog and then click “SUBMIT” on METAMAST Notification dialog. In dialog, you can see that amount is almost 0 Ether.
