In addition to high-profile executive talent acquisitions, the launch of an entire Entertainment Division wing, and substantial development upon SingularDTV and Centrality’s module development calendar, a major underpinning of the SingularDTV mission this Summer has been to set in place the grassroots, worldwide human network that will bring the S-DTV ecosystem to life when the modules begin rolling out this Fall.

Beginning in Zurich, expanding first to Shanghai and now Puerto Rico, SingularDTV has begun launching a worldwide network of Contact Centers, home bases that serve multiple functions ranging from technical support to education, information, and perhaps most importantly: local outreach to connect with real people who can utilize SingularDTV to realize their creative ambitions in communities that could benefit most from the empowerment of decentralization.

“Our contact centers not only provide technical support, they also educate the world about this movement.”

“For SingularDTV, it’s not necessarily about Ethereum or blockchain technology, it’s about the paradigm shifting movement of decentralization,” says SingularDTV CEO Zach LeBeau. “Our contact centers not only provide technical support, they also educate the world about this movement.”

Immersion into the culture of decentralization often comes with a steep learning curve, and it’s the job of the Contact Centers to guide user adoption with a human touch. “With the Puerto Rico team, we want to introduce S-DTV to the Spanish speaking audience,” says Katherina Morillo, one of a team of 8 exuberant young decentralization evangelists who relate the SDTV mission to their community in a direct and genuine way.

“Our main purpose is to bring personalized support to our fans and growing community, help them in the process of creating a wallet, subscribing to S-DTV channels, supporting them with any questions they have related to S-DTV, the tokenization process, our dapps and modules. We are working together with the Shanghai and Zurich teams to share feedback and information about user experience.”

The placement of Contact Centers in Shanghai and Puerto Rico in particular is a matter of philosophy. “Organic growth is important to SingularDTV, this often equates to ‘path of least resistance’ being a major influencer as to how we proliferate the mission and concepts of SingularDTV,” says LeBeau. “Puerto Rico is an example of an island and economy that has been decimated by centralizing forces. China is an example of how centralizing forces — the government — restricts free speech and practices censorship over its people. It’s not surprising a strong and committed SingularDTV team has emerged from these places.”

An example of the organic growth taking place even at the early stages of the Contact Center initiative is Blockchain Bootcamp. In response to demand from curious locals, the Puerto Rico team put together a 3-day webinar that walks blockchain neophytes through the basics of decentralized technology and the power that lays at their fingertips. Named Blockchain Bootcamp, the course will soon be widely available at Contact Centers and through SingularDTV.

As the blockchain and decentralized revolution continues to grow, it’s important to remember that all of the technological breakthroughs and massive currency valuations mean nothing unless they facilitate real change in the real world. SingularDTV’s Contact Centers are a commitment to this notion of people power via decentralization. “This is a grassroots movement where people determine the speed and rate of how this new decentralized internet grows,” says Zach LeBeau. “Not the corporations and conglomerates.”
