US-based Cannabis Beverage Provider Kikoko Raised $8M USD Series A Round Funding
A women-centric cannabis beverage provider Kikoko has announced the completion of $8 million US dollars series A funding round, led by Bengal Capital, and with the participation with FlowKana, Kikoko’s distributor and supply chain partner. The fresh proceed enables Kikoko a father team expansion and retails channel construction. Furthermore, Kikoko’s long term millstone is to become one of the top-ranked brand in California cannabis beverage sales.
Kikoko, found by two women, put main focus on creating health and wellness solution for women in the purpose of offering consumers sensibly dosed alternatives to pharmaceuticals and alcohol. Currently, cannabis-infused herbal teas and Honeyshot are already launched to the market for the solution of issues with sleep, stress, pain, anxiety, libido, mood and focus. Moreover, with its organically sun-grown cannabis and organic apoptogenic herbs, Kikoko would like to build a safer and healthier cannabis on the market.
Since the establishment in 2015, $14 million USD has been accumulated in the previous funding rounds. Meanwhile, Kikoko has led cannabis beverage sales in California for five straight quarters, with sales dominated by female consumers. Moreover, the success of the tea is closely mirrored by the robust sales of Kikoko’s new HoneyShots, a line of products that will see statewide distribution in October 2019. For the long term goal, Kikoko has pledged that by Q1 2020, all packaging will be compostable or recyclable to every extent possible.
