Greetings Singularitarians,

The Converter Bridge will go live for its final round of testing on the public testnet today, March 28th, at 18:00 UTC. We’d like to invite you all to join the testing on https://ropsten-bridge.singularitynet.io/, see below for instructions. This testing period will last 3 weeks, with the Converter Bridge set to go live on mainnet on April 18th.

As shared in last weeks update the rollout schedule is as follows, subject to successful testing and auditing programmes:

21 March: Hardfork AGIX-ADA to Plutus-enabled token — COMPLETE
25 March: Upgrade Converter Bridge for Plutus compatibility — COMPLETE
28 March: Verify final Converter Bridge functionality on Testnet — 18UTC
18 April: Rollout Converter Bridge to Mainnet

The first two steps of this schedule have been completed successfully and we’re happy to report that after internal stress testing over this weekend, we are a ‘go’ for public testnet on the 28th at 18:00 UTC.

During this testnet round we’re looking for participation from the community — as always you are the wind beneath our wings! For detailed instructions, our GitBook provides an overview of the setup, faucets and testing steps; it also includes a FAQ section.
In short — set up a Cardano wallet if you don’t already have one, get your Ethereum and Cardano wallets set to the test network, collect testnet tokens from faucets and have a go at converting back and forth!

Conversion times on the bridge should be in the order of minutes, as we wait for multiple block confirmations on both chains. Converting from Cardano to Ethereum requires a manual step by the user, we’re working on more seamless integration with Nami wallet. There are further UI and documentation improvements to be implemented during the testnet period.
For your feedback please use the feedback button on the right side of the Converter Bridge dApp or hop onto our community forum.

The importance of interoperability between blockchains has been covered in previous blog posts by IOHK and SingularityNET. Security remains the highest priority in this process and we thank our communities for their patience. A special thanks to the IOG team for the successful cooperation on this project; we have become great friends with the awesome technical team and continue to strengthen the SingularityNET <> Cardano bond❤️

The Converter Bridge is a very significant milestone igniting our Phase Two efforts. So we hope to see all of you over at the converter and do please share your findings!
