Mindplex is the new name for Xccelerando!

SingularityNET’s media spinoff, formerly known as Xccelerando, will be going forward under a new name: Mindplex.

A mindplex is an intelligence that is more diffuse than a single mind, but more cohesive than a social or economic hive. We aim for our media spinoff to be a melting pot of ideas, thoughts, and feelings coming together, bound together by the blockchain systems as well as by the exchange of information, so ‘Mindplex’ encapsulates what we aspire to create.

About Mindplex

Mindplex is a multimedia content site powered by fully decentralised matchmaking between content creators and content consumers. It will implement an AI-powered Reputation System that runs on blockchain technology. The reputation system and the underlining tokenomics algorithm will optimize the experience of content creators and their consumers by rewarding and recommending the best and most relevant content.

The current media environment can be a cacophony of too much information, without any guarantee of accuracy. The relationship between the source of the information and the information itself is obscured. Performance is rewarded or punished in accord with the will of the media moguls – not quality. The key to Mindplex will be its reputation system, which measures interaction between information, information sources, and information consumers. Mindplex's unique approach will be its bold attempt to decentralize reputation; our blockchain-based reputation system is a meritocracy that values interaction and substance.

Mindplex performs the matchmaking between content creators and content consumers in the Content Factory. Users request content they’d like to see, be it articles, video, audio, podcasts or VR, and can choose to boost their request with tokens, so content creators can claim the job and its bounty.

SingularityNET is a platform for developers to upload AI algorithms that compete with each other and form complexes, tapping into data-resources on the network. In the same way, Mindplex will be a community of AI-minds that provide a decentralized, competitive swarm of AI-powered newsfeed and content recommendation systems, as opposed to the centralized and biased recommendation system of other platforms.

Mindplex's governance will be led by a Governance Network Council. This council consists of 1) Mindplex Media Network (made up of content creators and our community of token holders), 2) Mindplex Media Management (our Editorial Team), 3) Board of Directors. The governance portal will allow users to review proposals and participate in voting activities. Over time the decentralized quality of governance will be increased, so we can build the future of Mindplex collaboratively.

Mindplex and the Platform

Mindplex will use the SingularityNET Platform in two ways: first, Mindplex will make use of some services that are already available on SingularityNET, such as the text reader and style transfer services.

Secondly, Mindplex will develop certain AI tools, such as the reputation engine, in collaboration with a more generic SingularityNET reputation system. These services will improve and optimise the experience of discovering and consuming media on Mindplex, and can also be offered as services to third parties, e.g as a WordPress plugin that is powered by SingularityNET’s AI and reputation logic.

Mindplex’s tokenomics strategy and go-to-market timelines

An MVP of Mindplex is expected in Q4 of this year. Around the same time, token generation and token sales events are planned. This event centers around two native tokens: a utility token and a reputation token, as a non-transferable and non-exchangeable token. The reputation token can only be earned by using the platform. The utility token, on the other hand, will be used to pay for content creation, and a certain amount of these tokens will be available during the token launch events.

Following in SingularityNET’s footsteps, Mindplex aims to launch their tokens on two blockchains: Ethereum and Cardano. Further details on the tokenomics of the project will be released in the coming months.
