SingularityNET Tech Development Update v1.0
>500 files in our GitHub repository; Alpha prototype slated for November.
--
Hello everyone! We’ve had a lot of people ask in our Telegram channel about SingularityNET’s software development progress. We’re very proud of the team we’ve assembled and are happy to report they’ve been hard at work.
As the Project Manager at SingularityNET, I wanted to share some exciting development news along with several upcoming milestones. We’ll be following up with more detailed technical posts over the coming weeks.
Development is already in full swing
The development team’s hard work this year has shown considerable progress, amassing over 500 files in our GitHub repository. While the full-blown “Release 1.0” of the SingularityNET framework is projected for 2018, our immediate goal is to have a prototype (“Alpha 1.0”) completed in November 2017.
Some of the features we’re aiming to include in the Alpha version are:
- a reference Agent implementation in Python
- an initial set of AI service-related smart contracts
- ERC-20 smart contracts for tokens and economic logic
- examples and tutorials for AI code integration
Meet our developers
This project is no simple feat, but SingularityNET is fortunate to have some of the brightest minds in the business, with decades of combined AI and blockchain development experience.
Our diverse team hails from every corner of the globe, but we all gathered in Hong Kong for the SingularityNET Dev Workshop in late September. And lest we be accused of all-work/no-fun, we definitely made time to enjoy the sights, sounds, and tastes of the “Pearl of the Orient.”
Every member of the team has been ecstatic to see our community support grow so quickly. Make sure to join our Telegram channel so you can ask us questions and we can thank you directly!
Next Steps
Now that we’ve made considerable progress on our tech infrastructure, we’ll be diving a bit deeper into its functionality and governance in future posts.
