The Clock is Ticking…

OMG it was a TikTok pun.

If y’all are marketing nerds, like us, you may be aware there’s some stuff happening with TikTok. If y’all are adults, like us, you watch TikToks on Instagram anyway, so it’s completely irrelevant to you. However, if you are fortunate to be young enough to have a stake in what happens to TikTok, we’ve got the pairings for you.

What to Drink When Times Are Unclear

Are you a TikTok influencer? Times are tough, and you need something to lift your Gen Z Cowboy-core spirits. Cheap rosé in an Instagram-worthy bottle should do the trick, so belly up to the bar for a glass of Gerard Bertrand Cote de Roses Rosé and don’t forget your ID! Who are we kidding, it’s been a minute since we got ID’d but a girl can dream.

Do you use TikTok? So wild. How is that going? We see you out there, aggressively lip syncing, oversharing your personal growth journey, being the ‘mysterious girl’ or staging fight time with your SO. Interesting choices, but you do you! We’re going to suggest a canned tequila cocktail to pair with unclear times and a lot of teary content generation. We’re big fans of Olé cocktails here at Sipply, especially the Paloma and Chili Mango flavors. Trust these cocktails, you know how to dance! Insert the Thai dance challenge here.

What’s a TikTok? Heck yeah. Our peeps. Nothing pairs with rotary phones and getting the newspaper delivered like some badass 13th century wine. How old, how comforting. We’re drinking Domaine de la Solitude Chateauneuf du Pape as a nod to simpler times. It’s filled with ripe blackcurrants, uplifted floral notes, a generous body and a fabulous long finish. This style of wine has been empirically tested over time (Pope approved!) and was here before the Tok, and will be here after too. Amen.

What’s Up with Sipply

More busy! We’re welcoming 2 amazing new advisors to improve our knowledge base, our materials for investors, and our company at large. Tiffany Hamilton (EIR at eUBC, ex-Subway, Bertelsmann, KPMG) brings food industry know-how, deep experience running companies, and a generally good vibe. Cassandra Hui (Founder at HealMary, ex- Charton Hobbs / Grand Marnier, Evian, etc.) brings amazing peer mentorship. Her startup is ahead of us timing wise and she’s going through it all now! Her advice is practical, and applies in today’s market. They’re both ready for Caty’s never ending barrage of questions.

Cheers!
