Gates Cambridge Scholarship Programme

Amelia Earhart Fellowship

The US$10,000 Fellowship is awarded annually to up to 35 women pursuing Ph.D./doctoral degrees in aerospace engineering and space sciences. It may be used at any university or college offering accredited post-graduate courses and degrees in these fields.

AUC-UNDP African Young Woman Leadership Fellowship

The AfYWL Fellowship Programme aims to provide opportunities for African youth in the key areas of Education, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Engagement, and mainstream youth and women in key development spaces. We are looking for 25 young African women to join the second cohort of this 12-month fellowship programme.

IAEA Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship Programme

The AfCFTA Youth Creative Competition

IBM Call for Code Education Innovation Case Competition

The competition theme is, “A future of education that ensures accessible and equitable quality education and promotes lifelong learning opportunities for all,”. Open to students. The grand prize is USD 20,000.

The Commonwealth Short Story Prize 2022

The prize is free to enter and open to any citizen of a Commonwealth country who is aged 18 and over. It is awarded for the best piece of unpublished short fiction (2,000–5,000 words). Regional winners each receive £2,500 and the opportunity to be published online by Granta magazine, and the overall winner receives £5,000.
