Their biggest hit single got ripped off by Taylor Swift, and their next best known song was from a TV commercial for women’s sports. but the combination of disillusionment, anger, loneliness, and resentment that Marti Dodson packs into the rest of her songs just oozes out of the speakers, and really gives a poetic voice to those feelings that we’ve all had at some point in our lives as relationships inevitably start to go south. But she does it in such a catchy song is all the more remarkable.
