It’s such a classic ’80s song that was all over the radio during Generation X’s high school years, that it makes perfect sense that it would fit all of their high school reunions in the ’90s, as everyone looked back wistfully at just how good they had it before the world got unhinged between ‘89 and ‘93. Little did they know the world was going to get even crazier 5 years later, but at the time, in your late 20s and wondering what you’re going to do while everything is changing around you and your original plans are completely ripped to shreds, the idea of joining Eddie Money on a trip back to try it all over again seems pretty appealing
