So, serendipities: I wrote the poem before knowing of Jack Smith's special counsel appointment by Merrick Garland and without having ever heard of him—this is just a coincidental that incidentally, works (perhaps, team "Red" unwittingly, gave special-C just enough of their own buffoonish antics to use as a jujitsu/Jan. 6th case, leverage—advantage: team "Blue").

Dealing from the right near game’s
end, a deck took on new significance
and “the house that valet built” with
red axe, leveraged and felled the gold
tower like timber to dust — cards fold
like a cheap suit — now all hands on
deck, dealt and cut from the left, they
played upon the chip-stack’d, table,
hands held high, center and front,
faces up: side-eyed jack is first, the
queen turns two, third is the king,
ten is the fourth-pull — but for the
royal flush — an ace drew forth.
