I often make the argument that you don’t need followers, subscribers, or a “big audience” to make money.

However, you DO need traffic.

Traffic = attention.

One of the fastest ways to get traffic is by “trend hunting.”

This is where you intentionally look for topics that are getting a lot of coverage in the media.

You can make money from “trend hunting” by creating content or products to take advantage of the influx of attention.

There are people doing this right now who are raking in small fortunes WITHOUT a dedicated audience.

According to Entrepreuner.com, Jamie Thompkins, a 46-year-old mom from Oklahoma, started making simple beaded “friendship bracelets” at the start of Taylor Swift’s recent tour and selling them on Etsy.
