A Rust-red Dingo, Stands Frozen Mid-play

May Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Sculptures”

Forever on watch, not quite tame.

Do you remember the dragon from my Powerball story? It’s the same artist — not that you’d pick it visually as this sculpture of a rust-red dingo is more of a classic style of artwork. Personally, I prefer the way Martin’s cobbles together scrap metal to create something unique.

In true SWPSC serendipity, I took this shot meaning to use it for April’s “Rust” Challenge … but life got busy. Then Vidya popped into our chat and announced she’d decided on “Sculptures” as the theme for May. And I knew my rust-red dingo had another challenge she could slot into.

This month, we want you to dig deep and share your best ‘sculpture’ photos and stories — we don’t mind if they are awe-inspiring works of art, celebrating historical figures or just suspiciously lumpy garden gnomes pretending to be art.

Check out this month’s challenge below!
