A Special Place?
May Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Water”
Where the land meets the sea.
The place where the land meets the sea is a special place.
It’s a boundary between a dry world and a wet world, each world with its own rules.
It’s a border between countries.
An island.
A place to view endless blue skies, a rose-tinged rising or a blood-orange setting sun.
A new horizon, a symbol of beginnings.
A place that hints at the unknown through separation and goodbyes.
Sometimes barren…sometimes windswept and wild.
Salt wafting.
Gulls squawking.
The reflective beauty of a low tide.
Sandcastles, ice creams, and sizzling suntans.
A skinny dip.
Cherished sunkissed memories.
The place where the land meets the sea is a special place.
Do you agree?
What makes the place where the land meets the sea special to you?
