January Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Fun”

The race that is never won.

Is there anything more stressful than competition? It totally takes the fun out of life, doesn’t it? Everything these days seems overly competitive, whether it’s school, work, or even social interaction. Where once as kids we were happy to have a few close friends gained through a shared love of dance, sports or just living on the same street, today’s children measure their popularity via the more shallow waters of Snapchat, TikTok, and other platforms I’ve never heard of.

So how wonderful to go to the fairground! Of course, competition exists here too. Who can shoot the most plastic ducks, who is brave enough to tackle the scariest rollercoaster?
