Up to the last minute, I was undecided about going to the Shinhotaka Ropeway in Takayama, Japan. Takayama is already far and Shinhotaka Ropeway is farther away.
I visited Japan last week, not to see the usual and be where everyone is. I went there to be in places that could move me.
I hoped and prayed to see the top still blanketed with snow. Though it was the first day of Spring, I knew that for Winter, saying goodbye wasn’t easy. My hope was not that high, but prayers can move mountains.
Disappointment is not a word for this trip. To go up there on board a cable car is a memorable experience. The view is breathtaking, mesmerizing, captivating — you name it.
A beautiful adventure that moved me out of life’s so-called “running in circles”. Now, I’m fully recharged and ready to face the routine again.
