Finding Inspiration In Waterfalls
May Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Water”
Blissful Serenity: Happiness By The Waterfall
I love waterfalls. They are the most beautiful natural wonders on earth.
Whenever I am close to a water body, be it a lake, river or waterfall, I am always in awe of the beauty and vastness of nature.
I can keep looking at the waterfall and sit there chilling for hours.
“ There is no better place to find yourself than sitting by a waterfall and listening to its music.”- Roland R Kemler.
Being near a waterfall and immersing oneself in its presence provides a transformative experience. It offers an opportunity for self-reflection and introspection.
There is also a scientific reason we feel happy near a waterfall.
Waterfalls release negative ions. When we are near the waterfall, we soak these ions up as positive energy. Once they enter our bloodstream, our production of serotonin increases, making us happy.
